Frequently asked questions
Use these answers to choose a realistic starting point and understand how this site handles your saved study choices.
Do I need prior floristry experience?
No. Beginner courses explain foundational vocabulary and hand skills. Intermediate and advanced titles identify the experience needed so you can choose a suitable sequence.
What materials do I need?
Requirements vary by course. Most practice can begin with seasonal stems, a clean vessel, a sharp tool, and a safe workspace. Each product description explains its practical focus.
Are the courses live or self-paced?
The catalog identifies each format. Current products are self-paced digital courses, video and workbook resources, reference guides, or project-based study.
Can I use flowers that are different from the examples?
Yes. The curriculum emphasizes role, structure, texture, and seasonality so you can make informed substitutions rather than depend on one exact stem.
What are Fallows?
Fallows are your saved courses. Selecting Save to Fallows stores the course ID in this browser’s localStorage, and the Fallows page reads those IDs from catalog.json.
How does the cart work?
Add a catalog item to place its ID and quantity in localStorage. The cart then loads current product details from catalog.json and calculates a visible total locally.
Does Golden Ray guarantee professional results?
No. Courses provide structured instruction and practice prompts, but progress depends on time, materials, context, and individual application.
How can I ask for course guidance?
Use the Contact page with your name, email, phone, and a detailed message. A clear description of your current level and intended project helps us respond usefully.
